SPUD PATROL is a program that we do here in Nanaimo and also in Vancouver once a month. For me, it's about connecting with those that we would normally not have an opportunity to connect with and to realize that they are just like YOU AND ME! As we connect, we learn that there is no need to fear or judge, but an opportunity to be compassionate and uplifting. Through our knowledge, we also empower our policy makers to make some different choices. This changes our community, our province, our country and our world. If you would like a reminder email once a month on the dates please let me know and I will put you on the email list for SPUD, or you can just check the website. The dates are all there. There are no rules of how often you come. Just come from a place of wanting to be there when and if you feel moved to. |
